Focus on Energy works with eligible WI residents and businesses.
Focus on Energy works with eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install cost effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Unfortunately, to be eligible for the Focus on Energy programs you must be a Wisconsin customer of a participating electric and/or gas utility.
To find out what programs and incentives may be available for Illinois customers, I suggest you contact your local utility. Many utilities offer information on their Web sites on how to save energy and money, and some utilities also offer financial incentives for the purchase of energy efficient equipment!
The ENERGY STAR Web site also offers a search where you can find out if there are any special offers or rebates, such as sales tax exemptions or credits, or rebates on qualified products. You may also be able to take advantage of federal and state tax incentives. I would suggest visiting the Tax Incentives Assistant Project Web site to learn more. This Web site has information that consumers and businesses need to make use of the federal income tax incentives for energy efficient products and technologies.
