Depending on where you live, and who your electric and/or gas utility provider is, financial incentives may be available for the purchase of energy efficient appliances, equipment, lighting, buildings and more. I suggest you contact your local utility to find out what offers they have.

The ENERGY STAR Web site also offers a search where you can find out if there are any special offers or rebates, such as sales tax exemptions or credits, or rebates on qualified products.
