Focus on Energy supports the development of Wisconsin's renewable energy market by co-funding renewable energy systems and encouraging the creation of a highly professional class of renewable energy system installers. Focus maintains lists of Full Service Installers for each technology the program co-funds, as a means to promote quality installations and help installers distinguish themselves in an ever-expanding market.
However, please note that Focus on Energy does not certify installers; we simply have requirements in place to serve as a customer safeguard against improperly installed renewable energy systems.
Full Service Installation firms serve as the single point of contact with a customer to design, sell, install and maintain renewable energy equipment. New firms wishing to be listed as Full Service Installers must meet experience and/or training prerequisites.
