Your double oven could be wasting energy and money.
It usually takes about ten Therms (a unit to measure heat) per month, per burner just to run the pilot lights (depending on the size of the burner). When you consider that one Therm equals approximately one dollar in energy costs per month, running your double oven can become quite expensive. When you have ten burners at ten Therms per month, you are using 100 Therms per month. And at one dollar per Therm, your double oven is costing you around $100.00 per month to run.
