Focus on Energy does not provide incentives for solar space heating, but it is a cost-effective solar option, even without Focus incentives or federal tax credits. Focus on Energy offers incentives on liquid collectors for solar water heating for domestic hot water only (showers, faucets, laundry, etc) and for solar electric systems. If you’re interested in a solar water heating or solar electric system, you can get a site assessment to learn more about your property’s renewable energy potential or contact a Full Service Installer to obtain a bid. If you’d like to pursue a solar space heating system, you can contact an installer to obtain an estimate—many of the solar water heating installers can also install a solar space heating system.
