These consultants will conduct a thorough inspection of all the systems in your home and identify opportunities to improve your energy efficiency and lower energy costs. You'll receive a written report of the findings and a list of recommended solutions. That way you can compare the potential savings, cost and Cash-Back Rewards associated with each of the recommendations.
Consultant fees are set by the consultant. The fees are based on the consultant’s level of expertise, whether the evaluation is an assessment or a rating, the complexity of the home being evaluated and the distance traveled. Other factors influencing cost could include multiple visits (as in the case of DIY projects) and the writing of specific work scopes for contractor bidding. The one-time fee includes the original evaluation and the post-test upon completion of work.
