Are there any financial assistance plans for a very low income person building a small house to install solar and wind power systems?

Financial incentives are available but aren’t income-based.

Focus on Energy offers financial incentives to help Wisconsin residents take advantage of renewable energy; however, they are not income-based. Our incentives are based on how much energy your solar, wind, or bio-energy system will produce. As a rule of thumb, we cover up to 25% of the installed project cost (including equipment and labor). Focus also covers 50% of the cost of a solar or wind site assessment to determine if a particular technology is right for you. Our Web site can help you learn more about renewable energy incentives, find applications, and find a Full Service Installer near you.

Please visit focusonenergy.com/incentives for the latest incentives and requirements, as Focus offers are subject to change.
