I am designing a solar hot water system for a Pre-K through 8 school kitchen. Would you expect the kitchen to use 2.4 gal per meal like a restaurant?

It will provide you with a basic water use estimate based on a national water use average from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) in gallon/meal.
